Prime Minister Narendra Modi convenes meeting in view of rising corona cases in the country

This meeting with the Chief Ministers meeting of all the states will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 pm. This meeting is considered to be very important, given the graph of increase in cases of corona virus in several states including Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Delhi and UP.

Considering the increase in corona cases by the Union Health Ministry, advisory has already been sent to all the states. From mid-February, there was an increasing trend in Corona cases, which is continuing. In such a situation, the Central Government is feeling that if vigilance is not taken now, Corona can take a frightening form again. Corona was devastated during September-October last year, when the number of daily cases had reached close to one lakh.



In India, the graph of Coronavirus is once again growing rapidly. There has been a 3.8 percent increase in new COVID-19 cases in the country. According to the Health Ministry, 26,291 new cases of corona infection have been recorded in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of cases in the country has increased to 1.13 crore. In the past 24 hours, that is, 118 people died in a day due to infection. A total of 1,58,725 people have died so far. On Sunday, 25,320 new cases were reported.


There were 16620 new cases in Maharashtra, which is the highest since 30 September. The lockdown-like restrictions have been imposed in view of increased cases in districts like Maharashtra's Aurangabad, Parbhani, Osmanabad, Pune, Nanded, Thane, Palghar, Jalgaon, Nagpur, Latur, Dhule, Wardha, Nashik. Has reached close to 2 thousand, which is more than double in a month.
