बता दें कि क्रिस मौरिस का आईपीएल में भी काफी हल्ला रहता है. पिछले सीजन मौरिस आईपीएल इतिहास के सबसे महंगे खिलाड़ी बने थे. मौरिस को राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने आईपीएल 2021 के लिए 16.25 करोड़ रुपये में अपनी टीम में शामिल किया था. इसके अलावा मौरिस आईपीएल में सीएसके और आरसीबी के लिए भी खेल चुके हैं. राजस्थान ने उन्हें अपनी टीम से ड्रॉप भी कर दिया था.

क्रिस मौरिस ने अपने छोटे करियर में साउथ अफ्रीका के लिए कुल 4 टेस्ट, 42 वनडे और 23 टी20 मैच खेले हैं. उन्होंने इस दौरान क्रमश: 12, 48 और 34 विकेट लिए थे. वहीं मौरिस ने 81 आईपीएल मैचों में 95 विकेट भी लिए. 34 साल के मौरिस अभी काफी लंबा खेल सकते थे लेकिन उन्होंने संन्यास लेकर सभी को चौंका दिया है.
