Vince Gill honors wife Amy Grant :- As Amy Grant recovers from a concussion she sustained in a bike accident, country music singer Vince Gill paid tribute to her.

Gil and his daughter Corrina performed the Grammy-winning song “When My Amy Prays” last Friday at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Corinna changed the lyrics to “when my mama prays” in the post.

The second concert of Vince’s four-night residency at the Ryman was last night. “After a bike crash last week that left Amy unconscious for about ten minutes and with a concussion (along with various cuts and bruises), he informed the audience that Amy was improving every day,” according to the post. In honor of her mom, Corrina then performed a song. A show stopper.”

As a result of her accident and everything she’s been going through, Gill had not performed the song recently. Having written this song for her youngest, I thought it would be very sweet if he sang it for her.

A pothole struck Grant while she was cycling with a friend near a golf course last month, and she spent two nights at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A concussion and cuts were among the injuries she suffered. Approximately 10 minutes after the accident, Grant was reported to have been unconscious.

She had another health scare two years earlier when she underwent open-heart surgery to fix a medical condition she acquired at birth and only discovered recently. Her blood circulation in the chambers near her heart had been compromised by PAPVR (partial anomalous pulmonary venous return) in June 2020.
